Trahern

Filmed across two "magic hour" (sunset) shoots (including some aerial footage drone filming), this is a promo video for Trahern's "Traveler," off his record of the same name. This cut features an extended credits opening. The Video was accepted into and received a great reception at the 2017 Jerome Film Festival as well as the 2016 Phoenix Comicon Film Festival.

Aaron Allen & Those Who Were There

Filmed across one fun, chilly evening in early January 2017, the video for this Remix version was a long time coming. Back in the Winter of 2014 we filmed a fun lyric promo video for Aaron Allen & Those Who Were There's single "House of Cards (Fall into the Sky)." Sometime later the band mentioned a remix they were working on that they also wanted to do a video for. It took a while, but a fairly impromptu night led to some great footage and a video with an organic flow.

The Big Zephyr

We covered the Zephyr with four cameras across one night where they performed three sets of live music. We also created a fresh, 3D extruded visual logo for them that you'll see bookend this promo.

As a side note, a still from one of our GoPro wide shots of this particular session ended up as the 45's cover. Named the "video of the day" in an article for the Phoenix New Times upon release, the video was also chosen as one of Yab Yum's Music & Arts '5 Amazing Live Music Videos' before going on to be accepted into and praised at the 2017 Jerome Film Festival as well as the 2015 Phoenix Comicon Film Festival.

Utilizing the natural beauty of Arizona as it's backdrop, two motorcyclists play a flirty game of cat and mouse. They chase each other as Trahern, also out in nature, plays this romantic guitar track from his flamenco album.

Mixing together footage from a live concert of the band's at the Crescent Ballroom, with special footage filmed across some unique locations in Phoenix, this music video is a surreal tale. If an artist's work is a self-portrait of their life, a prism of imagination and conviction, then with that in mind we tried to capture the prism of Aaron Allen - on stage and off.

The Big Zephyr

The Big Zephyr debuted a new incarnation of their live act recently - the Big Zephyr Big Band, featuring their normal band plus former members of the Groove Merchants for a complete horn section. We covered the concert with several camera operators to help get as much coverage of everyone as possible for this highlight video.

It was a night full of great local music in early December 2016, and Aaron Allen & Those Who Were There rocked through their brisk, 5-song set. This particular track, "Runaway Train," a single off their debut LP, was the set opener. We filmed the set with both roaming camera and a couple of stationary GoPro's.

From their debut album 'Fall into the Sky,' available now. We filmed this lyric video across one evening in the Winter and everyone was happy with the fun collaboration. It was accepted into and well received at the Music Video block of the 2016 Phoenix Comicon Film Festival.

AARON ALLEN & THOSE WHO WERE THERE

Recorded live at Zia Records Thunderbird on Record Store Day 2016. Zia was celebrating it's 10th volume of their 'You Heard us Back When' compilation series, which features local artists from Arizona and Nevada. Aaron Allen & Those Who Were There performed in honor of this, as their track "House of Cards (Fall into the Sky)" (check out our lyric video of that) is on the compilation CD. We covered this acoustic show with a single camera. "Give & take" was an impromptu encore track.

CHERICE LOVE

Cherice Love and her Band performed live at the Big House Music Festival as one of the headliners. While highlights from her set are shown above, here's a complete multi-cam edit of them performing her tune "Euphoria" at the event.
